Default We do Dragon Flys! Mike and Mike

After seeing Fstop Mikes Dragon flys this morning, I decided to post these anyway.

This is a Grebe that was working the Lotus leaves for insects.

Nice series. I keep looking for a praying mantis but I haven't found any yet.

Hi Michael - these are really nice photos .. I've never seen a red one before .. come to think of it, we don't have a lot in our area ... I'm Praying that some day I'll get a chance to photographed one...

Michael, your dragonflies are just estraordinary....I'm a great fan of your work. I haven't seen any red ones around her, but I'll keep looking. The lotus leaves must be fairly colse together of fairly thick to hold up the bird. Very interesting. Your praying mantis looks like a painting. Great group today!

Hi Mike! Thanks for the kind words. The birds have really long toes and big feet, so the lilly pads hold them up just fine. Thanks again
