Just watching the clouds go by is even amazing.

As said, awesomely truly amazing! As Digger said watching the clouds was a treat in itself. How do you come about to be able take sets such as these? It's a wonderful opportunity!

I never realised that there was that much blue sky in Scotland...

I never realised that there was that much blue sky in Scotland...

Ive been giging for 12 year, still as a local stage hand got offerd to go on some tours but didnt seem like my thing (should have tho.. alot more cash haha). But um my first timelaps was at a take that gig in the SECC.

I had to sit there with a wireless remote and press the shutter every minute. God that was painful i set my alarm to go off all the time, the day dragged in... but the last two was this and ac/dc.

For the ac/dc one, i asked one of the local promoters rep's, cracking guy and he thought it was a good idea. For the u2 one, one of the people in the site office was the same person i worked with at the ac/dc gig and she was talking to the promoter about me and the timelaps i done before and he thought it would be a good idea to.

So i guess it came down to me chancing my luck a bit and some world of mouth hehe...

I didn't get payd for doing it, but since i was actually doing work there i figured it was a good opportunity to do such a thing . The d3 just lets me set a timer and i go change the battery at lunch
