I went to Fenway Park and challenged myself to shoot only with a "fast 50" lens (Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM). Such a wonderful baseball park to photograph. I absolutely encourage people to challenge themselves to limit the equipment they take with them while shooting. It's actually very liberating to have that limitation and, for me anyway, gets me out of my "comfort zone".

All your shots are very good considering your challenge of using only a 50mm lens. The third shot (in my opinion) uses most of what I've gleaned from others as, color, clarity, composition, contrast with very little dead space. Everyone has their own style, but I really think you captured all the photographic "musts" with your third shot.
I really do like ALL your pictures, each is unique and they are ALL good shots! Thanks for sharing. |
