Another first time poster

Hi all,
I thought I'd share one of my shots as an introduction post on here.
I took this one earlier this month but didn't show many people yet since I still feel I'm kinda fresh with photography..I only really started taking more "serious" (hate that word ) shots a few months ago when I got my first SLR.

I placed an LED flashlight right behind the glass pointing towards me. That along with the glass being blue seemed to give a nice effect

Wow, that looks really amazing! If you can recreate it, or if you took it after the 9th of September, why don't you add it in the weekly assignment thread? I think it would be a great picture for the Contrast assignment that is on this week.

Yeah this shot would probably have worked in this weeks assignments. I couuuld probably get the same shot again (similar)..but it would probably not be as good. I never retake shots that I am pleased with for this reason..it will never be the same a second time round

It's possible I'll squeeze some time out to get a shot in the same kind of theme for this weeks assignment though! Thanks for the idea, JuiceZA
