What a lovely visitor. I love the bright red, but looking closer, I really like the swirl details in his wings. Nice capture!

What a beautiful moth Haywood. He must have liked the wood paneling on your cupboards.

Amazing red color on that guy, and so unexpected, give the drab grey color of the wings

I'm sure he was attracted to the wood grain cabinetry, but shouldn't he have chosen a better backgound for camouflage? If you were a predator he would have been a midnight snack instead of a midnight visitor!

ooohh i love this! So glad you had your camera ready and spotted him before the lights went out. I can stare at this for hours and still see more. Your PP is awesome. The textures are amazing and the light, grainy wood contrasts so beautifully with the deep dark colors of the moth. Well balanced and superbly presented my friend. You set that bar higher every time.
