Money, Money, Money, Money

I did a series on Banks You Can Trust recently, and this is a continuation of that. This time I'm focusing on the money itself. All of these shots are essentially SOOC. The only thing done to them was to convert to jpg. No other processing was done whatsoever. I shot these with my Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro.

BTW, I set white balance in the camera using a white balance disc. If these look warm to you it is because I was using a gold reflector opposite the key light. This was deliberate. Afterall, our money use to be based on the gold standard. The last shot is because I got tired of focusing on quarters and dead presidents.

I still want to know how you did the magnifying glass thing. I know you got it from the magazine CD but most of us on DPS don't have access to the magazine let alone the DVD. Why don't you do your own tutorial, written in your own words here at DPS. You can credit the magazine for your inspiration.

That is a good idea - I have the template to use so will put something together and add that as an attachment.

That would be great. Because I really want to know you you applied that effect. It is obviously not just putting a magnifying glass over the image. Looks great.
