Default Bird, Blooms & Humour...

Aren't I Just The Prettiest Boy?
Aren't I Just The Prettiest Boy?
This beautiful Golden Pheasant roams freely on our friend's farm

Hibiscus Flower

Courgette Flower

There is beauty even in the vegetable garden.

And finally, a bit of humour...
And finally a little bit of humour.
An inscription we saw on a beachside house the other day. Rather took my fancy LOL
The inscription means "Did you bring your grog (ale, beer) along". Sorry folks, no freebees here.

I love the flower shots. The colors are so vibrant and cheerful! Much needed around here with all the rain we've had the past few days.

You continue to impress Keen. You have a steady hand and an eye for an opportunity to capture something a little out of the ordinary. Good job

Hi Pauline. I don't actually think you're allowed to photoshop in bird colors because, really, we all know birds don't actually look like that!!!! Jeepers. His defense against predators must be that he "wows" them into backing down. Lovely flowers, too.

Thank you for that. Gosh I thought we were the only ones having days of rain, but spring has sprung so the nice weather shouldn't be too far away.

Thanks Bernz. These are just a few to fill in until the FINE weather comes along. Shouldn't be too far away now.

Thanks Beach. A steady hand...well...maybe not so steady, but an eye for opportunity, yes always on the look out for something a little different.

Thanks Lindy. Well actually I have a special appointment with photoshop LOL...Isn't he just the most beautiful bird. My friend has had two of them killed by Pukeko's (swamp hens) so this little guy is pretty cautious.

Thankyou Audrey. Be they vegetables, weeds or in the flower garden, there are so many beautiful flowers to capture, it's all a matter of timing it right.

Thankyou Ella. Somehow water droplets just make a flower shot so much more interesting.
