Default The Old Lighthouse (color & B&W)

I love living on the lake. We have some awesome old lighthouses around here. They make for interesting subjects. I took this on a really overcast day and the original colors were nothing short of bland. The color one I upped the saturation but I still wasn't quiet happy, but I'm in love with how the b&w conversion turned out. Much playing with adjustment layers and blending modes on the conversion, but I really want to print this one out and see how it looks.

I like both your lighthouses creativechaos, they're great subjects in colour or B/W. Good job and good luck with the print

Score! I was just at a photography workshop and they were telling us how Ansel Adams used to do exactly what you did with this photo, that is, incrementally change the exposures only he did it with light and chemicals. I love our modern "light" rooms. This is a great tribute to that technology. Just great!
