Default Awesome San Diego Sunrise

I went on a cruise out of San Diego in March. On the last morning as we were pulling in, I woke up and saw this gorgeous sunrise over downtown San Diego. I bolted out of bed, grabbed my camera and ran up to the top deck of the ship to get this shot. What do you all think?

There are more shots on my Flickr page, but this was my favorite.

Very nicely done. I love the colors and the silhouette or the San Diego skyline. One of my favorite city's to visit.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina. Ron Burgundy

Wow!! An amazing sight! Great call to take a picture.. what a beautiful sky and I love the skyline of the city. I hardly ever see a sunrise since that's a bit early for me! Haha this is gorgeous, thanks for sharing

Thanks everyone!

Everytime we saw the Coronado Bridge someone HAD to bring up that the "bad man punted Baxter."

The best part about catching this shot is that I was in an inside cabin. When I woke up, I flipped on the TV to the channel that shows a camera off the front of the ship and this is what I saw. If I had just gotten up and gone about my business I would have missed it.

I also think that the height of the ship really helped give me an angle not typically found.
