Default New Shoes for Dollar

Dollar is the name of my sister's horse. It was time for him to get a new set of shoes, and I was lucky enough to be there with my camera! It's neat to see this kind of work being done in person.

I've seen this done and it's pretty awesome to watch. Nice shots.

Thanks!

No, he isn't competing yet. My sister got him from an owner that didn't work with him much and she is still in the process of taming him up. She can ride him, but he's still twitchy.

Thanks all! I think the farrier thought I'd spook the horse with the flash until he realized I wasn't using it. I probably could have gotten better shots if I'd grabbed my tripod, but I figured what the heck.
