Default Yeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaa! Kitsap County Rodeo

Covered my first rodeo in about seven years. Didn't do too badly, but I should have used the 400mm f2.8 lens instead of the 300mm f2.8, so I'll take both tonight. We (photographers) are limited to two shooting positions, to the right and left sides of the VIP area, but, that's okay. I don't have to go too far for free food and drinks Think I'll set up the laptop on an empty table and transmit the images back to the paper instead of leaving and working in my SUV.

These are Great Action Captures Jim, Each one tells the story. I love the last one, looks like he's going to miss this one, he'll be off the horse and the calf will be back with momma before he knows what happened.
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael.

Thanks for sharing those! I am completely in love with the horse in the second one - but I fall in love with about one horse an hour.

Shhhh, don't tell my horse or she'll be jealous!

Love the second shot Jim, it's going to hurt. What time of the day were these pictures shot?

Many thanks for the comments gals and guys. See....I'm a getting the cowboy lingo down pat right smartly. I did get one fella missing the steer. Here's a series of a guy holding on for deal life. Can you believe that he wasn't bucked off and actually received the highest score of 85.
