Default The Wishing Well.

HI everyone. I had a trip to Southport Botanic Gardens today. Inside the garden is a Fernery which was lovely to walk round. At the end of the short walk I came across a Wishing Well. I hope you enjoy the photograph, I have included one of the lovely garden just outside the Fernery.

Be sure to make a wish.. I did.

Make a wish, I did.

What a lovely place to visit...i love the wishing well, its very magical and the different textures of the ferns add a lot of interest. The photo of the garden is very pretty with the colours of the flowers against the green grass...you sure have some very beautiful places to visit and i know this one holds very special memories for you. I know someone is smiling with you today

Hugs

Awesome shots Dave - I can't wait till our gardens come into flower.

The wishing well foto is great - you have made a great composition, with vivid colours and making sure we can see the words. Cheers, Bernz

What a Lovely Post Dave! All well composed and presented; The 1st one being my favorite and the grounds are lovely as well.
I love Botanical Gardens, we have one near here, I've yet to visit this summer. You've inspired me to make a visit soon.
Thanks for sharing these

Thank You so much Lorraine, this place is gorgeous and yes there is a very special memory. My dad was originally from Southport and I went here with my dad when I was very young and the last time I visited the gardens was with him over 40 years ago, so the memories came flooding back. It was so kind of you to put that in your comment. It was a very special day for me today. I was like the garden was a shrine to him.
Thank you once again for your lovely comment. It means so much.

Your Bessie David.
xxxx and hugs.

Dave, you have made me want to visit these gardens so much, I love all the fern, & the wishing well looks really enchanted.
I have been to Southport many times but never visited the gardens, be my 1st stop next time.
Excellent work mate, thanks for showing.

Beautiful captures, Dave. I love wishing wells, there's just something magical about them. The Fernery shot is very nice, looks like a relaxing place. The last shot of the colourful gardens is stunning from the green trees down to the rainbow of vibrant colours to the neatly manicured lawns. It looks like a beautiful relaxing place to enjoy the day.

LOOOOOOVE the garden!!! The Fernery shot is beautiful too. I should set up a lounger there and write (or sleep).
