No great art to any of these, I was using an hand held old point and shoot camera.
Tomorrow is my birthday - I'm getting a DSLR - and I'm looking to improve and especially playng with the A,S,P,M settings. http://api.ning.com/files/WwPNKzFZBi...y/DSC00252.JPG http://api.ning.com/files/rjXeNJ***B.../100_04791.JPG EDIT: The enter image didn't like the URL's from my blog for some reason, so I changed them to links instead. Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I've been browsing for a while now, but now I'm joining in I'm signing up and making myself known.
The camera I took those on was a Kodak 'Easyshare' CX7330. The composition was the easy part. The Alps are naturally quite pretty to look at. What interesting to me now, is what I might have done differently given how everything is in focus in those shots and the 'forestry' one the exposure seems to me a little off. with a DSLR, I get to try out those instincts. Tomorrow I'm getting a Cannon EOS 450d (..er.. Rebel - something in The U.S and elsewhere) with an EFS 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. - when I say 'for my birthday' - I mean I'm part funding it and using some kind relatives to off-set some of the cost. ![]() I'm looking forward to Halloween and getting some good photos of the pumpkins I'll be carving. Between then and now I'll just be practising with the different settings and finding out what I can do with exposure and flash. *note I got the year wrong in the forum name it was 2008, I took these. |
