Default Colorful Candles

We had dinner with our carpool mates. While they were preparing the food, I saw this candle set on their centerpiece table and took some shots. I hope you like them.

Candleset 4

Candleset 3

Candleset 2

Candleset 1

I told the owner of the candles that they would look better when lit. She politely said No. Anyway I hope they still turn out nice for you.

I agree Rick, however we work with what we have, and what we have is a charming set of pictures.

How inhospitable some can be. I mean, just light the candles so all of DPS can see! LOL
Very good composition on all of these. Like the second one best. The reflection adds so much.

The lights were turned off because all of us were in the kitchen anyway. I returned to their living room and used flash and played a little bit with the shutter speed. Thanks lans

The reflection was just an accident. I just noticed it during post processing. Thanks Angelb.

I agree. The owner wanted me to take shots of her candle set but not to lit them.

My wife will buy me a set of candles that are more colorful and we will light it up for all DPS community to see.

I guess I was lucky to have people like you who take time to look and write something nice and true about my shots. I was also lucky to have taken the shot of the subject and its reflection.

Thanks.
