I took these today as I was in the area. I chose the HDR route because of the extreme contrast withy lighting/ backlighting. I am happy with these shots as I don't think I over-processed them in Photomatix. I had done some video of these shots earlier in the year as I was going to use the footage for my final demonstration of learning for the grad program I completed there. IAs I shot the video back then, I thought how wonderful it would be to shoot stills with a nice camera. I hope you enjoy them, and if you think I overprocessed them drop me a note/ comment. I love the way they support the roof in this building: It shows timbers being used in a very creative way!

I don't think they are overdone at all. They look like fantastic exposures!
I'd say kudos! Great job.

Thanks weezerisrock. I am always worried that I might overdo these HDR's one day, and I am such a purist at heart. I don't want photos, processed or not, to look like drawings. Cheers mate!

what are you worrying about they are just great exposures.
I know its easy to go overboard with the processing but i dont get that feeling here.!! To be frank i am not sure about HDR i find it a bit freaky and surreal but i will say there is a place for it.I did have some HDR software and only dabbled a bit but took it off, i am sure i may revisit it again at some point but in the meantime i stll trying to gett my head around photoshop nice shots love the ceilings youve captured them well mike

Very nice, not overly done HDRs. You should be very pleased with these.

I like what you've done. I've played with HDR a little and have used it to achieve the "surreal" look and also to simply extend the dynamic range of my camera. These are a good example, I think, of using HDR to get the highs and the lows. Not over-processed at all. You even captured the light from the skylight without any halo effect. Good work.
