wow....dizwold. Love this little set.

Love the DOF of the first...nicely done, and the sweeping lines of the third really add to the interest.

So glad I could be the first to comment :P

Another nice B/W set. The first two pictures are similar although I prefer the first because it's simple, uncluttered and the light catches the leaves better than in the busier second.
The third and last are also similar and show the benefits of shooting at different heights/ angles and perspectives, good clean lines, good job

I really like this set and particularly like the 1st one - you have succeeded in making something more interesting than it probably really is

thanks beach
i enjoyed doing the first shot and the processing and it came out pretty much how i wanted it to.The second although busy,i was not really certain whether to include it due to that very reason. But i love the textures and the untidyness of the rushes themselves so i thought yes.The last ones are similar but also like the shots in the first thread i did, its what i was trying to achieve that day and i quote you on this angles and perspectives.
Again its always good to hear what you say and i'll check out your message you just sent lol!!
B/W is here lets try to catch them all
much appreciated
mike

youve hit the nail on the head because thats what i always have in mind, I can always see some potential in a shot well nearly always. If i cant get it just from the shot alone i will take it furthur into photoshop and explore there!!.This is the result with the reeds.
thanks your comment has been appreciated
nice one
mike

hi spell
hey glad you were the first as i didnt get any posts for a while lol!! I enjoyed doing the first shot and as soon as i converted it to greyscale i thought i was on to something. But anyway it was the most intersting place i had been to for a long time besides the good light, clouds strange buildings and long funky perspectives all crammed into a relatively small area.
I was determined to make it a b/w day and i think it paid off.
thanks again for being the first its much appreciated
take it easy
mike

I enjoyed this set as much as I did your first. Excellent B&W shots. I like the first and third best. Well done.
