Default Selective coloring

I just tried my hand at some selective coloring. What do you think?

The coloring is definitely distinct, but the sharp contrast in the first shot emphasizes the rough edge of the selection mask - particularly around 2-4 o'clock on the flower.

The second one is much more subtle and appealing, IMO.

Thanks very much for the critique. I appreciate that a lot. That's why I'm here, to learn.

I enjoy playing around with selective coloring also and your work, especially the first one, is very well done!

Nice job on the selective coloring fred. Mother nature did a good job of selectively coloring the last one, and you did a great job of capturing her work.

Very nicely done. I admire the patience of people like you who take time to do post processing of their photos.
