Default Water lily

A couple lily's from this weekend. I was surprised at how hard these were to shoot. Almost everything i tried i didn't like. Wanted a couple with the wide angle, but couldn't get close enough (with out sinking in the mud , which i ended up doing anyway )to get the shot i wanted. These 2 are with the canon 300 f/4L...............

They're lovely...I'll be putting some up soon that I got in San Diego...and you're right, they're not that easy to get a good shot.

I like both of them. I like the first one because it is of the flowers "backsides" -- different! I like the second one for the petals falling down setting on top of the water. Beautiful job!

Thanks leona, looking forward to viewing your photos. I don't know what it is about them that makes them hard to shoot. It's just hard to get an interesting angle on them or something.
