Default There's Probably a million shots like this

Yep, but I like this one (not only because I took it), I think it's something to do with those cool furry balls which are in focus, anyways, tell me what you all think about it.

Bonus Picture
No idea if this is any good, I took it on holiday in spain, a bit random but i like it. All comments welcome.

Ist shot is good as a Macro Shot. But the composition is not appealing as the Macro portion standing out of the whole ie. the flower and that is why to me the photo fails to create and impact.

2nd shot to me should have taken along with the bend of road to impart a perspective view and rightly suggested to be shot in B& W - Rathin , New Member

First shot is good. Interesting. New perspective. The second shot is nothing special, I think. Even if you do make it B/W it wont be anything good. What about by post processing??? PP is what losers do.

Both are interesting shots. The first could use a tighter cropping but the color and center pods are interesting.
I, as well, would like to see the effects of the second shot in b/w.

Way too funny........My parents have the exact same type of plant as in the first one and I got some shots this weekend that look identical to yours. I don't know about a million but I now know of at least 2

You've given us both texture and pattern in these two shots which is what makes them interesting. Well done.
