Default Red Rose

Hi everyone.
I've been playing with my flowers and frames for a while now, so I thought I would share one. I like this one for a lot of different reasons. One of the reasons is the Red Rose is the flower of Lancashire, the county in which I live.
I hope you all like this lovely Red Rose.

Rose

Dave.

Both beautiful light and composition. This is my favorite stage.....not tightly closed but not fully bloomed either

That's the sort of pic people should pay to put on a Greeting Card or Romance Novel. Nice clean shot on the bloom. Gotta love the reds over the whites.

Spot on! Beautifully captured. I'm one of those who think that dark backgrounds work very well when photographing flowers. Great job.
