Nice shots, all of them. Unfortunately the Americans don't put on any big airshows over here anymore. Mildenhall used to be one of the highlights of my year.

Hi,

I am unsure of any upcoming events in the area.

It is cool to talk to someone on here, who is locally

The 1st and 2nd pic are my favs.

I seen a photo that was taken by a professional photographer, taken yesterday, of the raptor and the background was the wall of fire. it was probably the best photo i have seen in a long time, it was taken by a guy named nathan. If your interested in seeing it, let me know.

AndCity - Thanks when was your last airshow?[/QUOTE]

A few years ago now unfortunately! Family life and the expense of it curtails a few things! The last show I went to was a Spitfire anniversary at Duxford in Cambridgeshire. It was awesome seeing and hearing so many Spitfires flying together!

agresbach - I actually did this on manual focus. I was anticipating vapor trails due to the dewpoints and it being morning time So i decided to try manual focus. Usually i do auto focus, but i didn't want to miss this photo shot It was interesting trying to do manual focus on the Raptor, lol. It was one of the most challenging photos i have taken to date.

AndCity - that would of been nice to see! Spitfires are pretty airplanes.
