First shots from the Nifty Fifty

So the camera has hardly been out of my hands since the I got the 50mm f/1.8 last week, it's about time I put a few pics up. Nothing very inspiring, mainly just shots of my daughter running around the house.

Anyway, this is the first shot I took with it (SOOC)...

This was in the shop, trying to decide between the 35mm or the 50mm. The bokeh in this is what really sold me, it was smoother and had something that the 35mm didn't.

It's a touch out of focus but there's something about it I really like.

She wouldn't turn around so I snapped her pocket?

This one was just more playing with DOF


Like I said, nothing inspirational, just snapping anything that moved around the house. Hopefully I'll be able to get out and take some photos of something interesting soon.

I love my 50mm and I see you are having fun already. I look forward to seeing some more playing around. I love the last one, I can see your little darling sitting in the background, sweet for not trying.

These are nice shots. I just had mine too and i couldnt use it a lot especially outside, its so dusty outside, lot of sand storm here. good for you you have a very good subject even in your home. maybe i will try to be more creative with my resources in my little 4 wall room.
