Newborn with a Macro Lens
My daughter is 5 days old today.
  A perfect example of why a macro lens makes such a good portrait lens -- these were both shot with my 105mm f/2.8 VR Macro.

it is a very nice lens and it consistently performs well and your photos attest to that.

Beautiful shots! Your daughter's really gonna appreciate the amount of beautiful pictures taken of her early on. Just gorgeous. Can't say it enough.

I agree with you!!! I love my Sigma 105mm F/2.8 Macro lens for a variety of shots including Portraits. I love the creamy bokeh that you have achieved in the 1st one.
