I've been off for awhile....but here's my comment.
WELCOME to DPS if I haven't said so before.
I have never done HDR, but let me say this....first of all. I love the composition of these shots...both are lovely.
As far as the HDR part of it I can only compare it to others I have seen...and these seem a bit overdone...keep in mind, I don't really know what I'm talking about...
Keep trying....I'm sure you'll get it. Try posting something without the HDR...I love your shots and would like to see the originals.

I like the composition of both shots but they seem a bit over-processed. HDR is pretty much meant to capture the full range of light in an image. By taking at least 3 shots at different exposures and combining them it allows you to get the dynamic range that the camera cannot capture in one shot. I don't know how many images you used, but I would also like to see the original images to see if HDR was even needed. Thanks for sharing.
