Default Chesterton Windmill

Hi
Took these today on our way back from the cotswolds, never knew it existed but just stumbled upon it. It is apparently totally unique in the world, all I know is it is very interesting.
Hope you enjoy the view?

Very nice shots, I haven't seen a windmill with arches cut out of it before. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Angel, it is a very unusual building for sure, even for a windmill.

According to Wikipedia, the windmill is one of Warwickshire's most famous landmarks, standing on a hilltop overlooking the village of Chesterton for nearly 350 years, near by the Roman Fosse Way and about five miles (8 km) south-east of Warwick. It was built in 1632-1633, probably by Sir Edward Peyto.

Yet how many more little gems like this remain unseen until posted here.

What a great find, capture and presentation, they are excellent, well done done Glyn, I enjoyed them.
