Default Time Gone By (B&W)

These were photos I took this morning at the Semiahmoo Resort area in Blaine Washington. One is a detail from this old boat, and the mooring cleat is from a nearby marina. I decided on B&W conversions because the colours were so muted anyway, and I like B&W photos. I hope you enjoy these.

Very nice set. They do look like they are from a different era.

I would like to thank all of you for the comments, and interest in these photos. I keep thinking I could have done a better conversion on some of them, but when I look at these photos I have to say that I am happy with them. They could use a little more contrast, I guess, but how much time does one spend in post? My friend and I were saying that we found a photographic goldmine in this old vessel, and we spent quite some time taking photos at various angles, and shots of certain details as well. It was a fun morning, indeed. One thing I might try is doing a mask over the building in the background of the entire boat shot, and just slightly bringing down the exposure in that area to differentiate the background a little more. What do you think about that idea?
