Default Reflections of the Past & the Future

Here is a shot I took in San Francisco of a very old skyscrapers reflection in a very new and
modern skyscraper, it is one of my favorites, past & present together.

reflections of sf

and here is my favorite shot from the Mophoto Walk that Michelle and I attended last night
in Modesto, Calif. This is the old State Theater marquee.

These both look better large. Thank you for looking.

Hi Debbie! The 1st one is Magic! Very well composed and presented. I love the 2nd, It brings back so many memories. When I was a kid, I used to go to the State Theater every Saturday. Watching Lash Larue and Roy Rogers, Tarzan etc. But it was a different State Theater, mine was in Sandiego.
Thanks for Sharing these
Michael.

I just love your reflection! Old & New together in one! Great eye to see that, compose it and capture it the way you did! Beautiful Job Mom! Of course I love the marquee, will bring nothing but pleasant memories to me for many years to come of home and our fun night out on the town with cameras in hand and about 50-60 other photographers. I look forward to doing it again sometime. Love you!

Hi Michael, Thank you so much. I really do love the first shot, thanks to my husbands patience while I hung out the car window to get it, lol. The neon marquee is a pretty close second, funny, both shots hold the past in them.

Thank you Michelle, I think aside from some of my dog shots, these are two of my all time favorites. And your praise means so very much to me. The marquee is extra special, imagine my surprise when I found you in the shot too. I hope that this photo walk was the first of many that we get to do together ! Love you too.
