Default Oh how the mighty have fallen

This was laying accross one ot the hicking trails dh and I recently traveled. I liked the lway the sun shines through the leaves.

Oh haw the mighty have fallen

trees and shadows vv

I came accross this taken the same week just a few miles apart. I wanted to add it to this thread, I like it better.

Hi there .. even the mightiest has its weakest - this time the roots gave in ... very well photographed

But he was SO mighty he took a smaller one with him.

nice, the bark pattern on the first shot draws my eye in. really like the second one, almost hypocritical. the forest looks like it should be dark and damp, but your shot is sunny and bright, I likes it.

Thanks, I like the 2nd one also. I did just a bit of photo shopping to bring out the sunny spot, but it was a beautiful placae.

Looks like a pine and a cedar that went together in the end! .. I really like the Spanish moss in the 2nd, it adds to the nice meadow in the forest feel for me .. 2 nice shares!
