The Sealions in my back yard

This little beach is just a 10 minute drive from my place in the suburbs on Otago Peninsula. I visited the other day and was lucky enough to find a pair of New Zealand sealion females that were attracting some male attention.





One of the girls seemed to have eaten something that didn't agree with her:



Making the best of some rather inconvenient light, I cheated a little and added a colour gradient to this shot of the girls heading up into the dunes:
