Nice shots Flavio. No matter how much machinery is available some things still need to be done by hand as evidenced by the person doing soilwork.

Looks like a good crop of tomatoes.

I think I'd like to have one of those tomatoes right now. It's nice to see some things still receive some tender loving care.

Thanks, Heaterguy!
These are workers from Thailand (working in Israel) they work really hard and they do a great job to save money and send it back to their families.
It is interesting that eventhough is really hot (about 35C on the shades) they cover themselves up entirely. I was told that they really try to avoid the sun-tan for some social-cultural reason.

Once they are done with the harvest I'll see if there are some tomatos left for the taking. I'll keep you posted about their quality.

This is my interpretation of street photography while walking the dog.
In previous years these tomatoes were pretty good. I still think the simple things make nice pictures.
I don't know if under the crushing sun they have any love left to give but I'm told they work really hard and they do a great job.

Considering that the last drop of rain I remember fell last January, I guess to see the crops growing green and giving great veggies it may seem almost like a miracle.
Nowadays it is the Thai-workers that make it happen.

Thanks for your kind comments, Patrick!
