Please let me know what you think...I created this shot with my at home studio in my garage with 1 softbox light and 3 clamp lamps on the other side with the same bulbs as my softbox. I was using ISO 400 just because my nephew moved around so much and I wanted to get the sharpest picture possible.
Please give me any suggestions on how I can get sharper pictures with this lens!!! When I zoom out to 1:1 I see a lot of noise. Is this common? Thanks all!! Lisa

Hello Lisa ( I read your first post regarding your new lense )
Welcome to the community ! I think for a first contribution to share your shot it's pretty good. Portrait photography has a steep learning curve and it takes alot of experimenting and experiance to achive a high qaulity level, I think your well on your way with an excellent camera body and killer lense. There is plenty to see here at DPS .. the tutorials are excellent resources as are the weekly lesson assigments. many of us learn alot from eachother by sharing what we're shot lately here in share your shot, but there are many forums to get very technical suggesions and advice .. we tend to encourage and stay positive here in "share your shot", so noone's going to tell you what's lacking or any flaws they may see .. really just the good elements. So I would suggest posting Nolan's portrait in Critque my shot-portraits area of the forum to get some indepth feedback.. I think you have an excellent " eye " for forming the shot and great potential ! I look forward to seeing more Vin
