Default The Cowboy, the Athlete, and the Parent (B&W's)

I am on a B&W frenzy at this point in time, so I figured I would share a few shots from a day at Second Beach in Vancouver. I hope you enjoy these.

Cowboy at Beach_B&W-1

Cyclist at Beach_B&W-1

Mom & Daughter at Beach_B&W-1-2

High fives Paul, these are excellent. I'm not going to pick a faviourite from this outstanding B+W selection, OK maybe it's the last one, but I will say these will all look good printed and framed and presented as a trio on the wall. Great job mate

Thanks, Steve. I had fun working on the conversions, and I am glad that you mentioned displaying these as a trio. I never thought of that. Cheers!

All three are superb shots, they all tell a story. The b&w looks great. Thanks for sharing.

Great B & W's Plangereis! I really like the second one the best though! Simple Clean! Well composed and presented. I also like the last one, but the Baby Trolley is kind of a distraction for me. Still a very well composed shot!
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

I would really like to thank you all for the kind comments. Like I said in the initial thread, I am trying to get better at my B&W conversions, and it has been because of all the great feedback from the members at DPS that I am getting better as time goes on. I have been into various aspects of visual art all my life, and I am certain that some of this has rubbed of on certain aspects of my photography, such as composition. Yet, I see so many amazing photos on this site (and other sites) that I tend to feel humbled most of the time. There is so much to learn in this revived hobby of mine, but I am having a great time playing with every aspect of photography. Thanks again for the comments, and happy shooting!

These are all wonderful shots. I agree. They should be framed.
