I was sitting in the back yard waiting for the blue jay that my dogs had frightened off. A leaf fluttered to the ground, and being bored, I turned and snapped a shot. In that short span of time this fly had already landed on the leaf. This was taken with my telephoto lens and I didn't have a lot of time to focus----
![]() Then I looked over the fence and my cat was having a blast in my neighbor's umowed yard, so I started snapping away. I made a small collage of the best of the shots. It looks better in the large size on FlickR--- ![]() And just one flower shot, a crepe myrtle, also in the neighbor's yard (they weren't home so don't tell them) --- ![]() Hope this is not too boring. I just had to shoot something.

All are great shots and definitely not boring. I really like the way you presented the cat photos and I like the flower shot with the darkened background that makes the pretty flower stand out more. Thanks for sharing.
