Default First "REAL" try at photography and PS

Here are some pics of my first real attempt to do anything artistic with my camera. I did some HDR stuff in post. I shot all these in raw.

I would say you did very well at your first "real" try at photography. These are very good.

Excellent work. If this is your first attempt then I would say you are a "natural".

My favorite is the shot with the fence. The colors of that sunset are gorgeous!

Thanks for all the compliments. I am what you would call a Computer Geek, lol. Backup Systems Administrator is my day job and I also do some part-time graphic design work. I did have a blast with these and now I think I have caught the photography bug. I will hopefully be able to post more and more, as time goes on and I hopefully am able to learn more about photography. I have been reading the forums and articles on this sight for about 8 months now and have really read all the info in "soak it all up" mode the last 2 months in prep for this vacation. Again, thanks for all the kind words.
