I think both of these are very nice. Both have an intesity about them that jumps out at me. And I really like the lighting and selective focus in the second photo.

I love the 2nd photo!
the action the lighting and the intensity was there. great composition and great story you have here... I can almost smell the sweat and the thuds of the leather from here
