Default Parting shots...AZ Highways

So here's the good news. I leave tomorrow and won't have time to torture you with any more decisions about photos for the workshop. So far "Bubbles" and "Speedy" seem to be favorites.

I love you guys. Thank you for looking and giving me your feedback. I hate doing a group hug but for now it will have to do.

Wow Linda!
More spectacular images. Your second photo is an amazing juxtaposition. A stunning display of the timelessness of the Earth and a guy on a cell phone in front of it. Crazy good! The fourth one: A lone sheep amongst the sagebrush with an immense background behind it. Wonderful. The third one: Stark, dry, an outcrop on the left to anchor the shot. Huge land, Huge sky. Rains streaking down from the clouds with the promise of replenishment, and to top it off, a rainbow. Monster image. It belongs in a gallery. But my vote goes to Inspiration for sand painting. It took my breath away. 2/3 blue, 1/3 brown. Where the land gives way and falls off on the left, the clouds fill in. Perfect balance. The gradations of color in the sky and the earth add so much interest. There's a big line of greenish-blue tinted earth delineating the various hues of brown that picks up the color of the cloud just above the hills. My personal favorite of all you've shown here.

Gee, I got a little too enthusiastic, didn't I? Could you tell I like them?

When you think your photographs cant get any better, you show these four wonderful pictures. Wow they are outstanding. The first is like and abstract in the mountains, the composition of the second one is excellent and I love the humour with your great caption and the third one just reminds me a little of one of my rainbow pictures a couple of weeks ago but with yours the setting is so much better and what is not to like about the last haha great caption. Linda you make your posts so pleaing to view and I love them all.

Dave.

How on earth do I thank you enough for not just looking and voting but almost embracing these photos. Thanks is not enough! The gradation colors in that hillside just took my breath away. This photo was one of those "stop the car!" moments. If those moments are character building, then my husband has THE best character on the planet! It makes me think that the art of sand painting was derived from scenes like this. Thanks so much, Mike.

I was in the middle of commenting on your post last night when the website went out of me. I was unable to get back on the site until this AM. I've missed seeing your work. Thanks for your wonderful feedback. I so pleased that you liked them. I hope to bring back more from the trip. They requested that we bring 8-12 GB of memory. Yikes!

Thank you so much, Mike. Your well wishes are much appreciated. I'm not yet familiar with your work, Mike, but I will certainly be looking for your posts. Again, thank you!

Dave.
The sky the day of the rainbow photo was almost green. Even the gold of the sunset was suffused with an amber shade I had never seen. The land is open and vast sweeping out on all sides. Thank you so much David.

Nature paints rather well, too, don't you think? It was a site that made me rub my eyes to makes sure this gradation of colors was real.
