Default On top of the world...

Unfortunately on this trip there wasn't very much snow around which was a little disappointing, however, the scenery was still very beautiful.

Indeed a nailbiting experience for those of us who don't like heights.

We had just visited a Salmon Farm and this was the view as we came back onto the Highway.

Just North of Dunedin is where you will find this beautiful little place.

It was a very bleak day when this shot was taken, so doesn't show it off to it's full potential.

Nice shots mate. I think i love the 2nd pic the best. Great shot of the mountains and with the snow caps in the distance.

Cheers

Thankyou Andrew. Does ours really compare with yours in Canada? My Brother-in-law lives in the Yukon and he has shown us some of the most beautiful shots of your part of the world.

Thanks Mike. The snowy Mountains are certainly very spectacular, especially when they have LOTS of snow. There was only a mere dusting when we were down there.

Many thanks to you all. It is quite hard to get vibrant shots in the South...they dont have the beautiful green pastures and foliage that we have in the North, but their snow scenes certainly make up for that.

Crikey wow amazing. Pauline these are stunning. You should go into the postcard business, you would make a fortune selling these. I love seeing your lovely scenery and i love the snowcapped mountains. Outstanding work and I love the frames too.

Dave.

Thanks my friend for your comments. Dennis and I went shooting yesterday (pics that is) but alas, came up with about 4 out 50...not good. But hey, better weather is on the way which I'm sure will bring more opportunities.
