Default Country girl goes to the big smoke for the day...

Yesterday I left behind my little country community with no traffic lights and only one roundabout and went up to Auckland City which is an hour and a bit drive from where I live. Weaving in and out of traffic, Hubby and I stopped at different places to take photos. I hope you enjoy them.

A view of Auckland City from a top of a hill over looking the Waitamata Harbour. You can see part of the Auckland Harbour Bridge in the far righthand corner.

Nice set angelb, I like the first one in particular because of the colour of the grass and the flowers in the foreground and the steel look of the sky and the city in the background. The water, bridges, etc form a good link between the two, this is your country girl goes to the big smokle contrast picture for me, well done

Thanks Beach, that is my fave shot of the day for exactly those reasons. I'm glad you liked it.

another great set ! a postcard view of the city in the first, love how you captured the water shooting from the statue in the second , the monument agaisnt that awesome sky is great in the 3rd ( nice framing too !! ) .. and I like the elements of the last, with the lighthouse, the mountain and the boat , they make a great compostion, I really like all of them.

AGAIN you share an awesome collection of variety and quality.. well done Ang !
