Yup - wasn't kidding. This poor thing has endured wind, rain, hot searing days, and drought - and still stands strong. Born with the sole purpose of displaying it's incredible beauty, it now has served it's time, and waits for the farm combine to chop it's little body in half...

I was going to title this thread ... "Something got in the way of my Bokeh!!", but I just felt sorry for that poor skeleton of a flower..

The Wheat is getting harvested now, so this poor little waif just may end up in my pancakes in the near future..... bummer..
