Default A sleepy baby - Deer!

I went to pick my wife up at the train tonight, and very uncharacteristicly I did not take a camera with me. As I went there were three deer sleeping on a lawn near our house. When I returned 30 minutes later I was shocked to see them still there. Quickly went home to get a camera and figured they would surely be gone -- but my luck they were not. Here is just one shot, maybe some more when I have time tomorrow:

Beautiful shot - just shows you that the deer must have been waiting for this opportunity. Love the pose. Cheers, Bernz

Wow! Hard to believe they'd be there for that long. Have you been paying them a sitting fee?

awesome contrast and clarity Kirb ! .. love the sun spashes in the first and a great pose in the second., they look very healthy , ears are clean and their fur is beautiful. I sometimes shoot deer that don't look so pretty and have to bin them,, these two look really great !

Nice going back to shoot them, sometimes the little extra effort pays off, better to go and chance missing them, then not even trying, great effort, great result !
