Default Spectacular Huka Falls, NZ

Went on another trip to Taupo yesterday and this time we called into the Huka Falls which is New Zealands most spectacular natural attraction. You can't help being impressed by the roaring sound of the water gushing over the lip of the falls into the basin it is an impressive sound. Seeing the turquoise colour of the water through the white wash is magificent. And the bush walk along the Waikato river, which the falls are a part of, is relaxing with the sound of the water rushing past you.

I will post some info on the falls soon. Hope you enjoy these photos and thanks for looking and any comments you may leave.

Hi Angela, spectacular they are - great shots. My son proposed to his now wife there. They spent two nights at the resort and said it was something out of this world. Lovely fotos - the colour of the water is so true. You are lucky you live so handy to these spots to capture fotos like these - I am jealous. Cheers, Bernz
