Ruthie, I've been looking at your photos for awhile... you have a great talent for portraits. These are top notch in my book. Love them all.

Hi Ruthie - gosh - you've been busy .. adore the lighting on the first two .. also beautiful skin tone on the 2nd photo .. and the composition and the locale on the 3rd one takes 1st prize in my book .. all very well done .. and the treatment you gave your daughter's image is outstanding .. kinda tone down her moodiness

I do love seeing your work; you're such an inspiration to portraiture. These are all wonderful, love the treatment and composition of the third, as well as the processing on your little one.
Thanks so much for sharing these with us.

Ruthie, these are stellar! The first two are wonderful. The third could be an album cover! I really love it. And the one of your daughter is simply priceless. You really have a gift for portraiture.

Very nice portraits; you seem to really capture the essence of your subjects and their moods.

Just curious, looks like a mountain dulcimer on top of the piano in the first image, no? Don't see many of those!

This was at the client's home so I have no idea what kind of instrument is on top of the piano. I was curious about it myself.
