Default Don't be Koi ;-) and a little more

This is Robert Earl Koi, my favorite fish. We've had him for about 15 years or so. He's very tame, and will eat out of your hand. Here he is coming for dinner.

We get lots of pretty butterflies around here, but these seem to be the easiest to shoot. The pretty blue ones flit around too much LOL

And my favorite flower of them all, the Giant Sunflower. Wish I hadn't clipped the bottom just that smidge ;-( but Mr. Bee dosesn't seem to mind ;-)

Robert Earl Koi is a handsome fella! Nicely done butterfly shots, and that is such a perfect sunflower! Your shots have brightened up my Monday.

Thanks! Robert Earl is pretty cool ;-) Don't tell anyone, but I actually had to perform CPR on him one time We had him at our old house, in a smaller pond, my husband was cleaning the pond out, and we'd put REK in a bucket...gone a few minutes, and he'd jumped out of the bucket! I found him laying in the gravel thought he was a gonner...the husband said 'call it' LOL, but I wouldn't give up ;-) little mouth to mouth (I told him that didn't mean we were going to the prom together LOL ;-) pushed him through the water to get it coming through his gills ;-) 30 min. later he was as good as new, pshwew! Glad he made it ;-)

Wow, that's quite a story. REK is a tough little guy. Glad you were able to save him!
