Default First Weekend

This is a shot from my collection of photos from my first weekend with my first dSLR, nikon D90. I hope this is an ok start. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers into interesting photos in macro. Is there anything that should be added or taken away?

One way is to do a search on Flickr for "macro" and then sort by "interestingness". Not a 100% of amazing photos but certainly a quick route to lots of examples that are catching people's attention.

Also, you could read through discussions in the macro technique section.

BTW, I've moved this out of the macro critique area and removed the other post you put up a few minutes later - do take a moment to read the site FAQ, which specifies a few rules (as well as lots of other useful information).
