Default Weekend batch

here's a few from the weekend

spent a long time watching for Osprey fishing

here's one on the prowl

IMG_6537a

I got to shoot one attempting a grab at a fish, but he missed , was funny seeing him neck deep in the river, it was a Juvenile and I guess there's a bit of learning to do ..

IMG_6527a

I'll need to get closer if I want to see details if I get a chance at one catching a fish.. seems we both have some learning and practice to do !!

I saw this hummingbird out of the corner of my eye.. I was a not expecting it and was only able to get a few shots of it .. I really want some more time with it .. I'll have to look for them again .. so beautiful

and to finish a little desert

IMG_6554a

thanks for taking a look

Vin

Hi Vin .. another interesting variety of images .. they don't look so graceful in the water as they do in flight .. got a lot to learn about fishing .. and what a sweet bonus with the humming bird .. all beautifully photographed

Awesome shot of the Osprey. It is so clear and detailed. I know you'll get one fishing soon. great capture of the butterfly and I love the colors on the butterfly! I've enjoyed these very much.

Great variety of shots. Love the colours in the last two especially the vibrant red.

thanks Angle ( hee hee .. Angel then Angle, just begging for me to typo ! ) .. I have so many Osprey shots .. but the first came out so good, I wanted to share it .. I really like the deep red in the last too .. wasn't sure if it was over the top,, but I liked it a little abstract.. I'm glad you liked them !!

thanks Much Michael, I'm glad you like the Osprey.. I've posted so many of them, but this one came out really well so I felt compelled to add it .. I just kinda shot the hummingbird.. wasn;t expecting him .. then he left and I lost him ( tiny little buggers are hard to see ) .. maybe next time I'll get more details ( it's a little washed out ) .

I guess with the butterfly I just over saturated a bit and then used the orton effect to smooth it out and blend it.. to be honest, I just was messing around with it and that's what came out of the oven ! glad you liked them !

thanks everyone,

Vin
