Hi Jack Russell! Yes I must admit it is a rather an ominous picture, but very significant to the area, having been a booming gold mining town in it's heyday. I lived in this village for 33 years and became very interested in it's history. The gate has been put there in recent years for safety reasons as part of the tunnel was starting to collapse. Thankyou for your feedback, much appreciated.

Dreamy, dreamy landscapes! I've really enjoyed your last few series of posts and this one is superb as well. I like the colors and textures of the mine entrance and that really is a beautiful flower. Of course, the rainbow has to be the favorite, just because, well...it's a rainbow! Nicely done!

Thanks Joe, I would enter one in the assignment if I could just get enough fine weather to go and shoot it LOL. I do hope to get one in there soon.

Hi Patrica, great shots again. I love the first one but think you should straighten to horizon a bit to make it perfect. Cheers, Bernz
