Default Calavaras Big Trees, CA.

A couple of weeks ago we went for a drive for my birthday and went to the Calavaras Big Trees National Park in CA. It was so cool to see such huge trees. If you get the chance and are in CA. you should visit.

That is one "Big Stump"

Trying to show some perspective of the size of the trunk in relation to my 6 yo daughter...

They were in awe....

This little guy was enjoying a treat along the trail...

Yay, you made it up there! Nice job showing the size of these things in comparison to the girls. I would like to go when there is snow on the ground some time. Hey, are you going on the Modesto Photo Walk coming up this week? I think it is Thursday night. There is a photoshop training session at the end at the State Theater. Free.

I did not know about this. I am free Thurs. evening (provided my hubby gets home from work in time to leave my kids). Do you know what time it starts and where they are meeting at? I am very interested in joining in. Is there a sign up any where? Thanks for the heads up.

Thank you Michael. I was not going to post the Chipmunk cause he has a green cast to him, but it was unavoidable since the sun was shining through the green leaves. He is cute any how. Thanks again!

Beautiful shots, you did a great job. The girls look so tiny by the trees. Love the Chipmunk too. Well I am off to bed so I will be ready in the morning for our outing. Love you.
