well three guys scouting the lay of the land for kayaking... more from Aira Force taken today has been raining so the waters are fast and furious...
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() excuse the camera shake all are handheld as I left the tripod base mount in the car DOH ! oooh should add no action shots as they decided it was too risky just after this is the main falls and the bit above was too narrow and rocky in the chasm to risk it... mind you I only understand this after watching the sign language and the much knocking of heads being described I guess meant the above

Good Job FoG! Number 2 is really beautifully done! I like the bright colors in 3 and 4, you did well getting the water smooth without the people blurring.
Thanks for sharing these Michael.

A great set, where were they taken? Considering you have'nt used a tripod they are fantastic nice blurring on the water. Good decision not to shoot them falls though. Thanks for sharing.

it is Aira force in Ullswater Cumbria was very gloomy start but cleared as did orginally want to try some landscapes at the lake lol but as was so overcast decided on the falls was nicely surprised by the force in them today. I would love to get the water smoother still but till my filters arrive I am stuck with only a 1.2 shutter speed lol want at least 2-3 seconds I reckon on some here

I visited Aira Force just once and it was such a geat experience FoG. I must go back there and your excellent photographs remind me what a great place it is. Wow you sure captured the movement in the fast moving water. These are all excellent my friend and thank you for sharing them.
Dave.

Thank you I have to admit they amused me the guys kayaking was really waiting for some action shots so when they decided it was too dangerous I was a touch disappointed but their safety was more important
