"Buckshot"
I took pictures of this moose for about 2 hours-the last half hour he was about 15 feet away from me. Just a little bit un-nerving ! But quite an experience as well. Not the "prettiest" of photo subjects, he was shedding pretty bad and if you check out his ears closely you can see what looks like someone unfortunately took a different kind of shot at him. That's how he got his name. -Glad he made it!

That is one great capture Shanna. It looks like he was drooling to get his photograph taken lol. Seriousl,. you got him real good and what a shame about his ears. Good work Shanna.

Welcome to DPS Shanna, That is a Great Capture of a very unattractive Moose. l.o.l
Moulting, Slobbering. Yuk! But that's what Moose's do this time of year I guess. I can see why you would be a little nervous, they are pretty big and unpredictable. Thanks for sharing this Michael.
