Default Unlikely Friends

This fawn seemed to want to hang around with the turkey. It was amusing to watch.

cool photos - I love the last one where you captured the turkey's wings all spread out, almost like it's displaying its 'wardobe' for the fawn to see :-)

Thanks for the comments. It was fun to watch the little guy check out the turkeys. For once I was ready with my camera and the right lens.

These are so cute. I love the first one, a very unlikely pair. So glad you had your camera!

I love the doe's look on the second shot. It's like she just can't believe her offspring is hanging with turkeys. "Hey, mom, can my new friend come over to play?"

Great pics! I love turkeys ;-) we have quite a few out here, and they are always with deer as well. I haven't seen them interact like yours did though ;-) too cute.
